We are seeking a talented & professional developer to join our team in South Africa.

The ideal candidate is responsible for developing personalization solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization platform (formerly Evergage / Interaction Studio ), has proficiency in front-end development and asynchronous JavaScript. Has strong communication skills and ability to work within an international environment. Focus on programming for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, emphasizing technical aspects such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AMPscript, and SQL.
Success in this role relies on analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Developing site mapping scripts with JavaScript
Developing campaign templates with JavaScript, CSS, Guided Template Language, and TypeScript
Interpreting business requirements, usability feedback results and functional specifications to make technical recommendations
Maintaining clear communication with the team, both written and verbal

Ideal Candidate Experience

Bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of relevant experience
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
2+ years of professional JavaScript coding experience
Minimum of 4 years experience developing front-end (web) applications.
Solid knowledge of web technologies
Experience with Javascript frameworks, such as React, Angular or similar - preferred
Knowledge of Guided Template Language - preferred
Knowledge of TypeScript - preferred 
Experience with mobile app development - preferred
